Trident: Has lot of depth and 3-d'ness, overall rounder tone.ĪPI: Alot of dynamics, great for drum sounds to make them sound larger than life! SSL: Has a nice "pinched sound", a bit more aggressive in nature, a "go to" rock mix kind of sound. You can choose the flavors of some classic consoles such as SSL, Neve, Trident, API or even an older RCA tube desk! You get the nice "not so clean" summing characteristics of each console, wider sound stages, more depth, subtle gluing, or even more detailed characteristics described below.
